On 13 May, the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the WCO Europe Region (ROCB Europe) organized an informative training session for students undertaking their internship program at the office.

The training, titled “Corporate Etiquette, Office Communication and International Event Organization,” focused on professional behavior in the modern workplace, principles of corporate etiquette, business communication, and key aspects of organizing international events.

During the session, participants were introduced to topics such as the importance of first impressions, dress code and professional appearance, greeting and introduction etiquette, business correspondence, office behavior, meeting and presentation etiquette, as well as protocol and coordination principles for international events.

The session was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to discuss practical workplace scenarios and exchange ideas based on real-life situations.

The main purpose of the training was to support the students’ professional development, strengthen their workplace communication and behavior skills, and provide them with valuable knowledge and practical tools for their future careers.
