Training for Business Entities Held Hosted by ROCB Europe

On 4 May 2026, a training session for business entities was organized by the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, hosted by the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the World Customs Organization Europe Region (ROCB Europe).
The opening session featured remarks by the Head of the Apparatus of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kanan Asadov, and the Office’s Executive Officer for Law Enforcement, Haji Hajiyev. Mr. Hajiyev provided detailed information about the Office’s activities and its role in supporting countries of the region, and also emphasized the importance of organizing similar joint trainings with business entities in the future.
The training covered key topics including goods classification, the application of the “Binding Decisions” system, and methods for determining customs value, followed by interactive discussions with participants.
The event concluded with an exchange of views, with participants highlighting the importance of such initiatives for strengthening cooperation between customs authorities and the business community.
