A meeting on the topic of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) was held under the organization of ROCB Europe

On 16 March, an online meeting on the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) was held between ROCB Europe, the State Customs Committee, and representatives of the Customs Service of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, discussions focused on the role of AEOs in customs control and trade facilitation, risk management within the AEO programme, the development of risk profiles, procedures for the selection, evaluation, and post-monitoring of AEOs, as well as institutional cooperation and information exchange between the public and private sectors. Participants were also provided with information on best practices and national experiences, and exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation in this field.
