"Risk Analysis and Search Techniques in Drug-Related Offences” was successfully held on 23–25 September 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

We are pleased to share that the Sub-Regional Workshop on “Risk Analysis and Search Techniques in Drug-Related Offences” was successfully held on 23–25 September 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The event was co-organized by ROCB Europe and the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan, in the spirit of giving particular attention to the concerns raised by four countries of the WCO Europe Region, especially from Central Asia: 🇰🇬 Kyrgyzstan 🇹🇲 Turkmenistan 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan The workshop gathered 36 participants, including customs officers, experts from ROCB Europe, CARICC (Kazakhstan), NEA (Türkiye), and national administrations. Over three days, participants engaged in intensive discussions, practical visits to the targeting centre, the customs laboratory, and the regional canine centre, and exchanged best practices on strengthening risk analysis and operational techniques against drug-related offences. 👏 We sincerely thank all partners and colleagues for their active contributions and commitment, which made this capacity-building activity such a valuable experience for the region.
